I would like to thank the FranklinCovey website for the challenging questions in their 'Mission Statement' building section that made me delve deeper into myself. Here are some of my true answers to some of those questions.
This answer derived from a question about imagining my life as an epic journey. Asking what my journey would be about and to describe what I am doing, who it is for, why I am doing it, and what is the outcome. This was my response.
I am creating an image. For the world to see. Knowing that even if I can touch one Spirit, it will all be worth it. Knowing someone was saved from their demons and brought back to the Light to see their worth. Or, maybe, this was all created just to save me.
This question was asking me to think about the last time I was really excited about my life. To briefly describe what I am doing, who is there, and how I felt. This was my answer.
Sharing my pictures with anyone who will look at them. Watching them become as excited about them as I do. To have the images touch them so deeply, as it does me. Sending shivers down their spine, as if God had just touched them. For I know He touches me when I look at the beautiful works of art He entrusted me to create with His help.
Another question asked, if I knew I couldn't fail, what are three things I would do? This was my answer.
To be the perfect mom, knowing my kids could never fail in life or in their dreams. Knowing I did everything I could to protect them and keep them safe. And they still loved me through it all.
To have no fear, of ANYTHING, even skydiving.
To not be afraid to take a risk and to put myself out there to be hurt, and to soar.
This question asked me to name one thing I could do in each of these four areas that will have the greatest positive impact on my life and help me achieve a sense of balance: Emotional, Mental, Physical, and Spiritual. This was my answer.
Emotional: Never let anyone else bring you down. Trust enough to battle even the toughest critic - Yourself!
Mental: Stay clear and focused. Don't give up on your dreams.
Physical: Stay healthy and strong. You are a fighter. Never give up your strength.
Spiritual: Always lean to God for understanding, love and patience. Through Him, anything is possible!
